    Price:
    925
    Strings:
    4
    Location:
    Georgia
    2007 USA G&L SB-2
”Electric Blue” metallic finish w/white pearloid pickguard
    Quarter-sawn maple neck w/rosewood fretboard
    38mm/1.5” at the nut
9lb 6oz according to digital bathroom scale
Strung with lightly broken-in TI Jazz Flats

The bass is in excellent condition. There’s a very small finish nick on lower bout, a barely noticeable impression in the finish on bottom edge below the controls, and a tiny ding on the neck I never even noticed until taking pics today (it was very difficult to photograph, but it’s visible in the pic showing just the side of the neck if you look really hard).

Since I’ve owned the bass, it has had the fretboard edges gently hand rolled and the fret ends rounded off and polished. It feels fantastic and has that classic high output MFD SB-2 tone that’s not quite like any other bass I’ve had.

$925 shipped CONUS securely packed and insured ($975 shipped in G&L HSC).

    Thanks for looking.

My home is in Fairburn (just off I-85 about 10 miles south of Hartsfield) and have offices there, in Buckhead and in Dunwoody.

Thanks Gerry! I don’t have a ton of experience with G&Ls, but everyone one I’ve had so far has really impressed me and I’m constantly surprised that you can get this kind of quality in a U.S. made bass for such low prices. I don’t play 4-strings nearly as much as 5’s, but I traded for the SB-2 to try something new and I liked this one so much I went and got an Empress body M-2500 a few weeks later. I’m not really sure I want to sell this one. I love the feel of the neck and, more significantly, I don’t have anything else that can come cop the same tones as this bass. It’s the ballsiest bass I’ve ever played.

I wish I played 4 string. I'd have jumped on this in a NY minute.

If I didn’t play mostly 5-string, I’d have kept it myself. I replaced it with an M-2500, but I really would rather have a 5-string SB-2. I wish they made one...

I traded my SB2T for a Fender P5. Can't wait for it to get here.:).
