Galamian scale exercises

  1. Does anyone else practice scales using this method? If you do, do you know if there's been a published book for double bass utilizing it?

I think there is a carl fischer book. If you really want to work, go get Rabbath's 3rd book, it is a great strarting point, then Hal Robinson's Strokin, a sevcik bowing book. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you just want a bunch of scales with a bunch of bowings, right?
  3. I was just wondering if anyone had published the Galamian exercises for bass. I was going to organize them for bass with some suggested fingerings and make them available online if no one had published them. I'll definately try those books you mentioned though, thanks.
