I currently have a hartke ha3500 head and a Peavey tvx140 cab. The hartke is too much for the peavey wattage wise and im looking to sell and buy a new head. From the 250 - 300 watt range I've found the Gallien Krueger 400RB 1V, just wanting some opinions of other who have played the head, good buy? Too much for the 350 watt @ 4 ohm peavey cab? Thanks!!

  2. isn't the Hartke 350 watts? How is that too much for your cab?

  3. The GK is definately not too much for the Peavey cab, since the cab can handle 350 watts and the head is 280 at 4 ohms. Are you sure you want to switch to a lower wattage? You do know there's a volum knob on the Hartke right?
