Gallien Krueger Backline Cabs...Anyone?

    Anyone try these? Idk I want to add a 15 cab to my half stack, which is a SWR Workingman 2004 and 4x10T, and I was thinking of a Backline 15 or a regular GK 15 or a Ampeg 15 or a Eden 15 or SWR 15. The only thing I'm wary about is that I knew this guy who crossed an Ampeg head with a Carvin cab and it sounded like ****...

    I've only seen them in MF, and I have doubts that a $260 15" could be that good sounding. I suggest you try the Eden Nemesis 15" cab if you're looking for an inexpensive 15".

    i think the nemesis 15 is a good bet. i haven't heard the gk backlines yet. fender also makes a 15" cab that you can get for 250 (i believe) from samash. i'd pick the one with the greatest sensitivity to make the most out of the 2004 head's wattage...

    since you have swr workingman's stuff now, why not add a wm 15 cab?

    have any of you tried the backline 2x10's?
    i want a cab to leave at home so
    i can just take my head back and forth from
    the studio instead of hauling the whole stack.
    also..what is the wattage handling and ohm rating?
