I have one on order. I'm told it will be another 2-3 weeks before it arrives. If it meets my expectations, I'll be ordering a MBP410-II to add to it.

    2 to 3 weeks,,,,, that's a while.

Don't know whom you ordered thru but Sweet Water has them in stock and they ship super fast.

I've ordered from SW many times and have gotten delivery in days, and I'm in Vegas,,,, not close to SW at all.

    Cheers

If I lived in the USA I probably would have ordered from Sweetwater, but I don't so it takes a few weeks longer.

Ahhh,,,, understood ,,,,, didn't realize you weren't in the US.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions and feedback on your MB410 after you get it.

I heard yesterday that my MB410-II is still 4-5 weeks away from being delivered which absolutely sucks. Once it arrives, I'll be happy to post some feedback on it.

More speakers does not necessarily mean better. Should sound different, though.

I'm looking at GK MB 410 II MB 210 II. Has anyone used these amps with an upright. I use a lot of bow. Mostly rock though. You think that moving to 212 would make a difference. It seems like everyone that comments in the forums are electric.

    Thanks for the help.

I have an MB410-II, however I've never used it with an upright. So I can't help you with this.

  12. The 410 will surely be 'bigger' sounding for the upright. Heard the Cleverly's last week and their bassist used a MarkBass 1x10 for his onstage monitor. When he fingered the upright I wasn't impressed with the MB (I was about 15 feet from it) but when he bowed it that little thing really sounded good. So in a small area that 10" speaker can deliver some serious bowing volume. (The Cleverly's are never serious however)

  13. Everyone is entitled to there opinion. I disagree, but that is my opinion.

In what way did this post apply to the OP?

Not liking the GK "sound" I can understand. Essentially dissing those who do is disrespectful and unwarranted.
