Playing catch, restore and release with this one. Was a bit of a setup disaster when it arrived. The geometry was just not workable to get to the low action, light string setup I use. Older arthritic hands determine my setup...

Anyway, I swapped out the thick plated hi-mass bridge for a traditional Fender 'bent plate' which I prefer. Put a slight shim in the neck pocket. Better... but 4 hours away there is perfect in the form of a visit to Mike Lull Custom Guitars. I gave the bass and a set of DR Sunbeams to the man himself and about an hour later there was a new nut and a setup. Mike also blessed the shim.
