    Hi all,

Well I was downsizing you see, so I called Gard for rig suggestions roughly equivalent to half of what I previously had. I wound up going with an Eden WT550 head and a pair of Eden D210XST 2X10 cabs, and man oh man, what a great rig this turned out to be!

I never played through Eden gear before, and only play 5-stringers, so initially, I wasn't sure if I'd made the right decision on cabs with only 10's in them, since I didn't know how they'd handle the low B. But geeze!!!!! I gotta tell you... I am thoroughly impressed with this setup! I'm almost embarassed to admit that it's louder, more defined, and has more bottom end than my other rig, which had a 1000W head, 4x10 & 1x18 cabs. Anyway, if anyone's curious about David Eden's gear, he definately has my vote as a serious contender!

[MJW Edit] - Ok, would ya believe David Nordschow? :)

That sounds like a nice setup. Can't wait until I get my second XST. That Gard, worse than a car salesman :D.
Sorry you had to get rid of the Ibanez, Michael.

Didn't have to get rid of the Ibanez, and actually didn't want to. My son's piano teacher played it and liked it so much that he offered to trade a keyboard, amp and pedal-box for it. My son had no gear at the time and I had two other basses, so I went with the trade. Still love that bass though!
