Does anyone knows what preamp-power amp-cab is Gary Willis using in his Progressive Bassics video?I think is the best bass tone i've ever heard!Ofcourse Willis is the best bass player alive IMO. :bassist:

  2. Don't know the whole rig, but I'm pretty sure he's using
an Aphex Aural Exciter (maybe with the big bottom option).

And yes, he is a great player!

He used to use Eden equipment, then switched to Aguilar for a few years now, but I haven't heard in about the last year what he's using.

[He's one of my favorite bass players.]

Last time I checked he was using a DB750 and two GS410's. But he also said that he keeps a 210XLT close by to track the lows.

  5. I saw him a few weeks ago, he gave a bass clinic in a local store. ( Man, he is AMAZING ! :bassist: )

He used an Aguilar amp (not sure of the type) and what seemed like two Aguilar 1x12 cabs.

I know he is using the Aguilar DB750 hybrid head.

Last time I saw him was with Scott Henderson and he was using two 410XLTs and a WT-800. I also remember him soloing with a killer Jaco-esque double delay sound from a Lexicon effects unit.

He impressed me even more than Alain Caron who I saw the night before!

I guess he uses the 210XLT as a monitor.
