I played a 4 and 5 today and I absolutely loved them, that usually doesn't happen with me, so it was kind of weird. So now I have some major gas for one and I want it, and the bass I just bought, it's so hard.

If I get the bass, it will be the first one with only 1 pup for me, does that matter alot?

Are these things reliable or do they crap out in a year or so?

I just thought I'd try one because I never have, and because I saw a real curbow (very sad about hsi death) at my local GC.

thoughts, concerns about the bass would be helpful.

IIRC there's one that just popped up for sale in the FS forum.

Also, there's a bunch one one pickup basses, Precision Bass, Tele Bass, Musicmaster, Stingray, Sterling, etc.

I know, I've just never liked the tele's or P's, and the other's are either too expensive, or don't come in 6 string versions.

I posted on that one and brought it back to life ~_^

That 6er in the fs forum is giving me some major GAS. Can anyone give me an idea what the 6er's spacing is like, I don't like ultra narrow string spacing. I played the 4 and 5 but that was about a year ago, I remember enjoying the experience but not much else.
