I am so unworthy. I'm still at a rookie skill level, but dang it, if you can learn on a super quality axe, then why not!

So, my new best friends at The Perfect Bass will be shipping this bad boy out to me Monday!

Yeah, it's an '03 and I'm amazed that it went this long without selling at all. I'll make sure to post new pics when I get it.

Nice! You are going to absolutely love this bass, but I don't know how much GAS this will actually cure...I had mine for less than an hour and I already had GAS for a fretless.

No kidding... somehow I don't think they'd make that part of the deal. At least, not without me paying for it. :ninja:

I'm sure you could talk James into throwing it in. Tell him you want to buy a couple of sets of strings as well, oh, and could he throw in that glock rig for free??!? I'm sure he'd be cool with that:bag:

I've had the pleasure of seeing it in the flesh and it is very sweet indeed! I think the antique finish gives it a great color.:)

Bravo! I've been looking at that one for a while, too. Not to buy, as I am a four string guy (right now); just thought it looked cool and could never understand why someone wasn't smart enough to grab that one! Please keep us updated!

Yeah, but that would require me hiring some miscellaneous unsavory characters to somehow slip him a cocktail of mind altering drugs...

    Crazy combo !!!

Congrats on the Roscoe, you will enjoy it
    ;)

And yes Shawn, I agree with you... as soon as the Roscoe will be there, you'll only have a few hours without GAS pain just before you begin thinking to its fretless sister...

    I don't think it'll be a fretless that GAS'es me next, but perhaps thoughts of a 6'er...

The problem with Roscoe basses are that getting one only subsides the GAS for a very short time period. During that period of of GAS subsidation, you then realize that you need to have more Roscoes, then the GAS comes back even bigger and better for multiple Roscoe basses. Trust me, it doesn't go away, and they're even better now than ever.

That's exactly why I said "relief" instead of "cure". ;)

Hey Gard, pluralize us man... Roscoes? Roscoeses? Roscii?
