I don't know why I want one so bad, but now I do. Can anyone tell me what the going price for a used one is?

Seems to run $800+ or so on the auction sites. And they just look that good, mmmmm. They look even better in your collection :D.

Of course, you could always go the fakenbacker route if you're just looking for a beater.

    Hey!

Biker4Him has a '79 for sale/trade going right now. Don't recall the price, but seems that it was very reasonable.

    Hope this helps!

Biker4him has a nice one for sale I was going to buy but ended up getting a 4003 with trem. I was looking to spend about $800 wich I think is about right for a really good shape 4001.
