I could stay in school for another two years and do 4 courses that would not benefit, or interest me, or, i can go to a college of further education for two years and do an AVCE in mechanical enginerring.
Off to tech i go :bassist: :bassist:

They don't do it like that anymore - at least with that particular exam board (I forget which one it is). At GCSE level, rather than splitting the sciences up into physics, chemistry, and biology, you just have "science" which encompasses all three. It's a modular course, and some modules are physics, some are chemistry, and some are biology.

You get the choice to do "single science" (1 GCSE) or "double science" (2 GCSEs). With double science, you do twice as many modules.

But whichever you do, you're getting an even spread of physics, chemistry and biology.

It wasnt too bad really, I'm strong at maths so I didnt really have a problem there, the bit that most amazed me was the french result, there was like a minutes silence on my french oral tape :p .(Where if they could hear what I was thinking would be filled with me going 'what the hell does that mean')
