Let's try and keep this reasonable. This isn't an unrestrained GAS thread, it's about gear you really do intend to buy in the next 12 months. Yamaha Attitude LTD II, black Ashly Audio CLX-51 Furman P8-II A rack case And possibly a QSC RMX-850 (which will eventually be replaced by an SVT-4 Pro) and an Avatar B410 Delta (I'll probably be able to trade my combo for the QSC, and the Avatar is only like 4 and a half with shipping...it's all a matter of if I have money left over after the other stuff).
Big Muff Double muff some more distortion/overdrive pedals Fender 69 Thinline Telecaster Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amplifier Sorry about the addition of the guitar stuff, I do actually really enjoy playing guitar, i currently have a mexican tele but the thinline is gorgeous. I would like another jazz bass, and perhaps a percision but i've got a carribean holiday to pay for yet so money is in short supply.
Ampeg Svt6-pro Acme lowb4 or ATS BS4x10C I'd like to buy a new bass, maybe a Bongo or a Warwick Streamer....but this is only a wish
I think i'm gonna buy a Lakland 55-01, i might change my mind though.. but I do intend to buy a new bass with a maple fretboard and a swamp ash body..
Being reasonable, as little as possible. However, the list includes, - a set of fret files - some new pickups (hopefully sourced secondhand) for a couple of the basses, along with a few misc bits of hardware for some hot rodding - some new high Q cables for the rig - a rack case - a heap of strings My new SS rig should be finished being built soon, and then I have a hankering to build a big tube head for it with all the bits I have here (I've been building tube amps for years)
A second hand QSC PLX A new Epifani UL-210 A host of small gain / modulation pedals A lot of george l connectors A one-spot A custom pedalboard + case
I'm pretty much all set with my rig and accessories. I think I will most likely end up with one or two of the following... * Valenti P-Bass (P-J) Black with Gold Pickguard with black binding and blocks * 7 or 8-string Stambaugh Double-cut with curly redwood top and birdseye board * 7 or 8-string F-Bass (this one will be difficult to pull off) I'm sure there will be others. I'm running a bass a quarter lately.
very cool. That is on my short list of needed gear as well. Beyond that; M-Audio Delta 66 Studio Projects TB1 Some Cables and some sort of phaser maybe.
This year... if everythings goes well im gonna be able to buy this with the gigs -Lakland Daryll Jones 5 ( Black with Tort or white with Tort, i'm still not sure...) -a custom by a Luthier from Montreal, a 5 strings with 35 inch scale, Mahogany or Cherry body.. ( maybe with Koa top...) Ebony fingerboard, 24 frets, and i still don't know what kind of pick-ups will be the best for me... And i want it passive. want to hear the wood. My teacher called some Villex for is Passive Custom 5string P-Bass maybe it's gona be this
I just want to get 1 bass next year, probably around august. The only time I can work is during the summer, and I plan on having 2 jobs so I can make alot more. Gear: Fender American Series Jazz Bass Fretless. I love that bass so much and I rrally want to buy it. I'm set with my 6 string and my rig for now, but I want a good 4 string to back it up. Greg
MIA P-bass or warwick BO thumb (im going get them both someday but i cant decide which on to get first), and an envelope filter (q-tron or chuck systems agent 00 funk)
Warwick corvette standar or MusicMan StingRay 4 or Esp B-2005 anniversary bass and an ampeg or warwick combo around 150W
I already have a desert gold unlined fretless EBMM Bongo 5-string HHP on order, which I'm expecting to be here in March 2006. I'm also going to buy a Fishman Full Circle double bass pickup with a Pro-EQ preamp and adjustable bridge from Mr. Bob Gollihur.
I'll be getting my US Lakland Glaub with single DarkStar pickup early in the year (January, hopefully).
Well I've got a Rickenbacker 4003 fretless in Blueburst on order - I hope I'll be purchasing it in 2006 !!
