I have geddy jazz with stock mia fender pick-ups. I was thinking that perhaps I would upgrade to better pick-ups that would give a more full tone, more alive sound if that makes sense. The fellow at the music store said my p/ups are fine. i am sure they are. is it worth upgrading?

if I did upgrade, any recommendations?

    thanks!

I also feel my Geddy pups are low output but as of now they stay in. I love the way they sound it's just the output I don't like. :( As far as a replacement pup for that bass there are dozens to choose from, It all depends on what type of sound your looking for and what will suit you.

yeah, I felt the Geddy was a little bit low end shy by default. Hence the big pickup shootout I did...
