I'm in the market for a Geddy Jazz Bass, and I've been shopping around a bit. I played one this past week, but it was $750 or so. I've seen them all day long on the internet for $699. I'm just wondering if there's anywhere better to look.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

$699 is pretty standard. Don't recall seeing them for new less, but they hold their resale value quite well. You can find them used for around $600, or as low as $500 if you're really on the ball and move quickly.

629 with shipping no tax if you live outta state.
call the local GC and tell then you can get a new geddy lee shipped after tax for 629.
    name the page.
they will match or beat it.
if they only offer to match ask them to beat it since you can just go to the other place.
im sure they will under cut them.

then you can get it for less....

and make then give you aleast 1 set of new strings free....

Getting a Geddy or any bass for a nice GC or internet discount is cool but sometimes it's okay to pay more at a smaller store if that store has good service or will allow you to layaway etc.
