I heard all the raves about the Geddy Jazz. All the talk centered around the neck and how un godly thin it is ."Fender has never made anything this thin"."Modeled after a modded pawn shop find".
It is thin and I liked it so much that I bought one ,BUT the neck on my old Jazz feels a bit thinner. My question is ,Fender use to make THIN necks in the past didn't they?I mean on a regular basis. There nothing special about a Geddy other than it is a size that Fender use to make but no longer does, right?
Isn't that what 's that A,B,C, stamped on the heal of a old Fender is neck about? So with the vintage pick ups and the thin neck it's just a vintage remake.Am I right or not?

No, Geddy's neck was modified, and his sig bass is made to reflect the modified neck shape.
