none of the above. I think tortoise looks better than anything on black bodies.

White Pearloid! Makes it look a bit more classy. The plain white is...well.....too plain. Here is mine with the white pearloid.

Abalone pickguard?? Don't think I've ever seen one of those.

I vote for black pearloid. Hot sex on a platter!

I've got to agree with the tort. Looks SO GOOD. Check out the "Rush in Rio" DVD; the Jazz he plays on "Driven" has the tort guard and it's the best looking bass he has. Don't get me wrong, his '72 is the best bass, but the "Driven" bass looks better in my opinion.

    I'd say black.

All black jazz body+blocked and bound maple neck +chrome neck pickup cover = killer.

Of course, Tort would look equally cool
  11. Go with black............:ninja:

It just looks bad @#$ on a Geddy. IMO

Either leave it alone or white pearl.
  14. either leave it alone or get a black/white/black one.
  15. sorry to be off topic, but whats with the big pole pieces on the pickups? schecter came out with a jazz with really huge pole pieces and im really interested. does it effect the sound or is it just a j humbucker without being stacked?

back on topic, +1 with the black on black, it just looks so classy nothing can beat it

yea a lot of people have issues with the poles. I haven't had any problems though, but then again I use a soft hand when playing.

Black pearl looks best on a black bass, IMO.
