Obviously "Got Love For Sale" has never been played live by KISS or otherwise and I've always liked the song.

To be expected, Gene does make a few mistakes here and there (seeing as he's never played it live) and forgets some of the lyrics but the bassline is generally pretty groovy.

He also played Almost Human at this show:

If KISS when out playing these types of deeper cuts i might actually consider going to see them.

I can't say I dig GLFS, but Almost Human is a good one!

Gene's playing a natural finish Punisher? What is this world coming to?

EDIT: Hmmm...looks like there were runs of them done in different finishes, including natural and sunburst. Black is still the best color, though.

  6. Very cool thanks for posting.
  7. Guess those lessons with Carol Caye are paying off ;)

Great to see Gene still sounds like Gene.
  8. I always loved both of those songs. I'll have to search for the rest of this show. I wonder if they did "Plaster Caster." Most of my favorite Gene tunes were the lesser known ones.

Wasn't there a thread recently in the 'Band Management' section of TalkBass about
whether it's crazy or not to have 3 guitar players in a band?
I guess it's crazy like Gene.

Clearly you need two guys to cover Paul's parts ;)
