  1. If anyone has had any experience with this product, I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me about it. I've looked at it and seen all of the gatgets it has, but-

Are the fx on the board just as good as if there were a chain of single pedals all hooked up to eachother? How well does everything work on it and does anyone know how many different distortions it has? Thank you. It looks to be promising.:D

IS GOOD PEDAL ... DISTORTIONS? I HATE DISTORTION ON THE BASS... WHO HAVE ANY PATCH CREATED IN THE BP8 THAY WORK FOR DEATH METAL?

  3. Well, what do you mean? From what I've heard everyone who has tried to perfect distortion on a multi fx pedal has really screwed it up. I really like distortion and I really like clean sound too. I just get more creative with distortion.

This will almost certainly never be the case with a multi fx box. They're all a compromise. The best chorus on a multi fx probably won't be as good as the best chorus available on a single pedal.

Having said that, I had a BP8 for a long time and have tried/owned a number of the multi fx boxes. I eventually went to individual fx, but the BP8 was to me the best multi fx box out there. The tube helped warm the sound and the flexible eq/compression helped shape my sound nicely. I remember the distortion being pretty good, why not go to digitech.com and look at the bp8 patch library.

  5. This subject has been done to death on the BP8. If you do a search you will find plenty of information on the unit.
