I'm going to be working in a music shop in a week or so, specialising in basses. Just wondering if anyone wants to share some general info that might help deal with overly inquisitive customers etc - anything from basic n00b stuff (which I should know all of but hey you always miss something out) to pretty intermediate topics.
Thanks a lot if you're willing to contribute :) :bassist:

Eat a lot of garlic and onions. Your time with each customer will be greatly shortened, freeing you up to help other customers. Your new boss with surely feel you are quite efficient!

Whatever you do, don't let them get away with calling a bass a "guitar" unless they specifically specify "bass guitar".
