I built this bass from brand new parts about a year ago to be my backup. I've since found something more ideal, so time to let this'n go. Here's the specifics: - Fender MIM Deluxe Active Precision body. - Seymour Duncan SPB-2 & SJB-2 Hot humbucker pickups, - Fender MIM 70s Jazz bass neck, bound and blocked. - All other parts are genuine Fender parts as well. The electronics are passive, wired Vol-Vol (no tone circuit). I put a blank over the stock input jack port on the side and mounted the input jack on the pick guard like a standard P. There are zero issues with the bass, and the only marks on it are a few pick marks on the pick guard and a tiny ding on the end of the headstock. It's got a great, aggressive tone and is super playable. Comes in at around 9.5 lbs on the bathroom scale. Comes with a beat up, but workable SKB hard shell case. I'm considering parting it out in two pieces... loaded neck or loaded body. $300 shipped for the neck, tuners, and string tree. $300 shipped for the body, pups, pickguard, electronics, bridge, strap buttons, and neck plate. I'll throw in the case with the body if you're willing to pay extra for the shipping (dimensional weight still applies). Not looking for any trades right now. $650 shipped (to CONUS only), $600 local. {}
