Genz Benz 3.0 Shuttle repair

    Hi ,
    I am new to this post ,and was wondering if anyone can help me with a Genz Benz 3.0 shuttle repair.
    The issue I am having is distortion on output(Speaker is ok)
    It is really noticeable at low volume ,also amp pops when turned on.
    Anyone Seen this before and what was the issue(please be specific) I am a Tech and have been repairing sound gear for the past 30 years..
    Or can you help find repair guy to do it for me?

    Put it on scope, check for any AC ripple in your supply, I too am a tech for 30, probably has issues with the SMPS, IMO, the SMPS/PA not repairable to component level, most techs would probably agree, cannot repair SMPS, field replaceable.

    Almost certainly not the problem with this SMPS (based on my experience with this part)

    +1 @agedhorse , he brought my Shuttle 6.0 back to life. It now lives a normal healthy life and plays well with others.

    From his experience, Sounds like the way to go.
