Well, I picked up a shuttle, so this guy's got to go. If it weren't for the size, I would still be playing the GBE 600. The amp is in good condition. I picked it up used in late 2004 and never had a problem with it. Included with the amp is the two button footswitch to change between the tube and solidstate preamp. Amp ratings are: 275W at 8 ohms 425W at 4 ohms 625W at 2 ohms I'll provide pics if requested. $475.00 shipped to the lower 48 states Paypal accepted
xampworshipx, GB amps are very stable and fairly transparent. You're not going to get an ampeg-like color, but instead will get something closer to the sound of your bass. The power ratings are also conservative and the amp is capable at running very loud without any hard clipping. Each option available from EQ to the different channels and boosts can affect tone in a major way, so you have many tonal options. I know some people that say they can get any tone they want out of a GBE 600 from a hi-fi modern sound to a jaco like jazz burp to warm motown sounds. I generally just ran it flat though. I love Genz-Benz as a company and will always consider their amps and cabs. TB posters Hasbeen and Agedhorse work for GB, so if something goes wrong, they'll be able to guide you to resolution. http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid=1425&sid=422&cid=95
