OK, I've used my Shuttle 6.0 as a sub amp before, well this weekend we found our praise band without enough horsepower to play the outdoor waterpark gig we had, so... A little thinking outside the box, run all the amp we have to the mains, drop my Neo-Pak 3.5 by the board to run the monitors, and everything is awesome. We have plenty of power to all areas and the gig was a great success. ... and people make fun of me for always bring a "spare"!!!!!
I wouldn't make fun of you, I bring a spare bass, cables, and sometimes amp too. If I had a GB neo pak, I'd bring it everytime!
That sounds awesome! I'm loving my Shuttle 6 after having my first gig with it over the weekend. (an outdoor wedding) It sounded incredible! I had thought about running monitors from the second power amp channel on my old SM-500 but never got desperate enough (or had the guts) to do it. Guess I was scared someone would do something to fry it.
Honestly ? no there isn't. Genz makes amazing gear. If something needs wattage and tone, Genz will make it work. Way to save the day Terry, and you know how to share too.
All GB power amp designs are based on pro audio anyway... your emergency application was a piece of cake
