George Duke's "Face The Music" is the one album I can't live without.

  1. My intention isn't for this to turn into a "the one album I can't live without " thread, but I'm sure it will.

George Duke's "Face The Music" is one album that everyone who logs onto TB must own. If you don't have this one, I feel sorry for you. Christian McBride is at his best here, and it is so funky!

face the music is a great cd. its funny because the only reason i got it was because the wherehouse was having their huge going out of business sale and i got it for 3 bucks. i was expecting it to be some more of his 80-90's era shlock but luckily it turned out to pretty good :D
  3. Yeah, definitely not as silly as any of the Clarke/Duke stuff, or his 80's stuff. His "After Hours" CD is pretty nice too. Nothing like Face the Music, but good. Face the Music is as about as funky as it gets.
