I've lowered the price of my fine old bass another $1000 for the final time-must sell! Here's the ad again:

Smaller 3/4 German bass from the 1790's. Carved back with gamba corners, all ebony fittings, 41 1/2 string length, dark brown oil varnish, adjustable bridge and raised adjustable saddle. Has a nice warm, sweet and focused sound appropriate for jazz, solo or chamber music, that can only come from a fine instrument of this age. Was fully restored over a three year period only in the stable winter months, is very solid, and remins in excellent condition. Includes a new ProTec bag.Was used to develope the prototype for the Underwood pickup and amplifies very well. $6500 and I'm in Nashville TN. Pics & demo tape available for serious inquiry.
