    Hello.

I really suck at amps. Now, i play on a ****** Kustom 16 watt amp, its miles from the rehearsal studio (suprise...), where me and 2 other bands split amps, and we got this really big ampeg system. Now, i often play at a low volume at home, since i live in an apartment. But, should i still get a better amp, does it matter much even if i play low? I have invested in a Warwick Corvette so it feels a bit stupid sitting on a 5 year old amp when playing at home.

Get something that allows you to play through headphones then you can abuse your hearing just like you do when you practice with your big ampeg system.

an amp with a headphone out is a thing of joy if you have good headphones for it.

it's up to you about your home amp. I use small modular speakers so at home i just plug in one and use my old swr electric blue as a head for it. If you really wanted to you could find a good used head and cab or a used combo for more oomph.

I just hate not having a gig ready amp at home in case i get the last min call.
