get crazy with the slaps and pops.... and mute?

    i hear all of these songs (not even difficult ones to play) and when i play along or whatever, i notice that the difference is that i can't fret all over the place and mute the strings i just hit at the same time. how do you mute the string after you hit it when your trying to get over to the next freaking string?

    Well i don't know if this will help you out but with yur right hand, or the hand you slap with, take the fat part of your hand and mute the strings, it's as easy as that, to me at least.
  3. well, you could mute it with the side of your palm like the d00d above me said, or you can just release the pressure off the note ( fret ) so the note doesnt ring out any longer.

    i think thats what you want to know, not quite sure what you are asking
