Hey, im looking for a combo amp for practice/ small gigs.
Would the Fender Rumble 60 be sufficent for a 3 piece metal band playing small gigs.
I need to compact/reliable/good sounding and lightweight combo.
Is the Rumble 60 big enough?

You might want to try looking at 150 or more watts if you are going to be playing live and be playing metal. 60 watts could cut it for a jazz bassist most often but for rock and metal think again.

Check out a peavey tnt 115. I have one and it is awesome, REALLY loud but it isn't the lightest amp around. You can find em used on ebay for about 300$.

  3. at the very least(if you like the fender rumble series) go for the Rumble 100.

I use one at some smaller gigs and it works out fine.
