Let me explain my situation. I'm currently in between cabs. I'm using a Hartke 4x10 I picked up for a good price, and I have an Ampeg 6x10 in layaway that I will be pulling out in the next couple of weeks. I was in Guitar Center today and I noticed they had a used Genz Benz 1x12 cabinet with a two rack space built in. I had thought about buying one of these long ago for a practice amp. Once I get the Ampeg, the only use for the Hartke I will have will be as a practice amp. I'm taking my head and cab in tomorrow to go check it out. If I end up liking it, does anyone think I should go for it?

absolutely, nothing worse than a huge practice amp. Besides, once you have that monster cabinet, you will be glad to have a little one for small gigs, practices, whatever.

I'm going to see if they'll give me an even trade for the Hartke and cover for the Genz. Think I could get this done?
