Getting a bell-like tone

    I'm trying to get a very clear bell-like, or almost chime-like, tone.

    I've got a CV Jazz with Dimarzio Area J pickups strung with DR Sunbeams. This is going through a Shuttle 3.0/10 combo. I've got a VT Bass as well if that would be helpful.

    So any advice on technique or settings to get that kind of tone?

    Not sure how to get a bell like tone but you can get a whistle-like tone if you make a super smiley face in the eq and boost the extreme highs as this is how most organs create a whistle and use various harmonics. Maybe a touch of chorus too.
