I am nearing the completion of my self produced album, but I don't have the means to make nice looking CDs or CD books/covers/backs and whatnot. I don't know where to begin. Anyone have any experience?

make sure that if you do the artwork yourself, you don't do it in photoshop/mspaint, because the text can look strange when it's printed. instead, do it in illustrator or quark express.

i just finished the bonpantalon artwork, and i did it in illustrator using the illustrator templates from discmakers website: http://www.discmakers.com/music/templates/templist.php

Yeah something like that. I talked to my girlfriend, who's sister is a graphic designer... maybe she could help me do it in a freer sense. But yeah, this is cool too. I don't know. Does discmaker cost money? If so how much?
