my teacher is an endorsee of Gallien-Krueger, and through my constant hassling he has managed to secure me their 700RB/210 combo for $1,500 (australian). is this a good deal? it sounds incredible, and i've been lacking an amp for some time now.

am i doing the right thing?! :D

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, and if you think it sounds incredible, go for it! Getting anything in Australia that is a reputable brand, has more than one ten inch speaker and more than 200 watts for less than $2000 here is always a good deal! :D

it just sounds a bit unbelievable, you know - it's rated at 380 watts, has two 10's and a horn, and a four-band EQ (not a graphic, though). a friend of mine looked this model up on the net and apparently they list for $2900 over here!
