getting a "Twangy" sound

    I was listening to the bass "solo" from hate to say i told you so by the hives.
     
  2. hmm.. get dr hi beams strings and have your bass in series.. on you Eq boost everything but low mid.. should work ;)

    If you want Twang buy my J-bass pickups.

    A friend claims my tone in this track is pretty twangy.

    The single coil position on my SR5 is very, very close to that tone. Very twangy. Cuts through easily. I'm liking this setting better than series lately.

    Could you also change the pots to 500 and capacitator 0.5 so you can get more treble, but it seems like you got it the tone.
