Getting close to upright tone on a fretless (video clip)

    Here is a link to the Buddy Rich band playing The Hague in 1978. The bass solo starts around 25:56. I don't know who the bass player is.

  2. That sounds pretty good, but I played a fretless P with flats that really nailed it, this was years ago, and it was in the first crop of fretless Ps. It had an ashtray on the bridge with the magic foam strip. The decay was what put the icing on the cake.

    I just found the DVD with credits for this and the bassist is Tom Warrington. Wow - great player, thanks for posting. Fretless P played through what looks to be a V4B.
