Getting Small Ampeg Amp ,Which Headphones ?

I recommend open/semi-open for your ear's safety. These sound great, are light and comfy: AKG K240 Studio Semi-open Pro Studio Headphones

Good price for studio headphone IMO, and they sound very good.

 

I suggest you try before you buy. I ordered a good pair of 50mm over ear 'phones because "bigger is better". Well, they forced me to run two different EQ settings for cab and 'phones because they produced too much low bass. I ended up shuffling those to drum practice "play along" duty and bought a set of 30mm on ear 'phones for silent bass practice so I don't have to mess with the amp settings every time I use them.
