Getting sunburst with a spray gun?

    Hello talkbass, I am new to the forum. First off, I would like to acheive a sunburst effect on the Thunderbird-esque bass that I am building. I have already looked into Reranch products, but I was hoping to get a sunburst using my small (autobody) spray gun. But, I need to locate the paint/stains? Any ideas? Thanks!
