Getting that MUSE sound...

    ive always been amazed with muse's bass sound...
    esp in their song, hysteria...:eek:

    just wondering...
    what danelectro pedal shud i get to achieve that sound??
    im thinking danelecto cause its small and cheap...:ninja: :D

    Danelectro isn't really the answer, because that is what they are. Small, and cheap. Though it's rumoured that the French Toast Octave Fuzz does sound quite close. I'm getting a killer Hysteria sound out of my Prunes and Custard though. But that's alot more expensive.

  9. For hysteria its a black russian big muff and an animato distorstion, both going into seperate marshall dbs rigs with one extra still clean.

    I thought he went direct live. The Marshalls one stage, both for him and the guitarist, didn't seemed to be attached to anything.
