Gibson '77 G3 earthing prob

    Hi all, my 77 G3 hums just a little yet the hum/buzz stops when I touch the bridge.
    I've taken off the guard & it seems to be wired A-OK earth wire seems attached to the bridge fine.
    Any hints?

    It does sound like an earth problem. Is the jack ok? Maybe replace that as a test.

    Input jack looks & sounds ok, no crackling etc.
    I could swap it. Will get to that asap.
