Don't know why they are calling this one a 70's tribute, these kick the original's a$$...and yeah, I WAS around for the original...
2012 build date, set neck, quarter-sawn maple with a roasted maple fingerboard, just under 1-5/8 at the nut, satin finish over maple body, new design single coils set up for the classic, Bill Lawrence designed 'Buck and a Half' configuration, one ding in the lower bout not through the paint, big, BIG ol' Gibson bass sound, soopa-fat dub tones, and surprising clarity. And, this one weighs in under nine pounds.

Great bass, ready to Rock and Roll All Night, ships with nice Gibson bag and truss rod tool. Gene bobble-head not included...
$800 to your door, Canada/ US 48. Remember, there is NO duties or taxes shipping USA, Canadian or Mexican built instruments from Canada to the USA. Thank you, Mr. Clinton...

...pm replied about the weight. Under nine pounds, now noted in OP. No neck dive, either.
