    Not affiliated with this sale, in fact I was going to bid on it but it has passed what I was willing to pay ($1000.00)...

    Most likely a Ripper (L6/L9?) prototype. Pretty cool looking. It has the double EB-0 pickups like the some pre production Rippers.

    When I googled "Gibson Ripper Prototype" I also found this pic:

    I also saw this one but I think it is a mod (cool idea).

    I'll bet it weighs a ton. Looks like someone removed the frets. It's the 3rd on I've heard of.
