Gibson Ripper at BassNW!!

  1. check it out, a used 1974 ripper for 400 bones! Basses/gibson_ripper_natural.htm

    i hope one of you is gonna jump on this, i sure would if i didn't have a new bass!

    Just bought a mint Ripper from BassPalace, That one is nice somebody scoff that one up!

  4. I wouldn't mind a Ripper with that fretboard and paintjob.. but for shear imposing looks I don't think anything beats a black Ripper with an ebony board (like Bob G's).

    Yeah, I always though a black/ebony ripper was a little more evil looking that all of those pointy "death" basses....Something about them struck me as belonging to the people who are actually hardcore, not the weekend warrior types...

    No...actually, I'm just rambling. Though I wouldn't mind a black/ebony ripper in my collection.

    Thanks Brad!:cool: I love mine and haven't stopped playing it since I got it. And yes it sounds killer!:D
    Has a nice deep growl to it like no other bass I have played, Sounds like it looks!, Mean!.
    Rippers do have there own voice!
