Gig report, rain rain go away

We have a gig tomorrow, great spot we play at frequently with a nice deck. But rain is looming in the forecast so we'll see.

I'm over near Buffalo. We feel your pain. It's done nothing but rain, and feels like fall weather here in June.

 

I played an outdoor concert like that when it rained right up to show time. The band was under a canopy but the audience was out on the grass. The rain stopped and there was nobody in the audience.. they all booked. We played to the nobody and got paid.

 

One of the pitfalls of outdoor gigs......bad weather.

Hey this is literally about to be me in another five hours! Playing a set for a biker festival today and it looks like crud out here (rain supposedly starting in another hour). Also, I think today is one of the two opening days before crazy amounts of ppl turn up for the weekend. So I'm thinking there won't be a huge turn out between that and the rain...

 

Excellent job, too bad the weather was so uncooperative.
