I wasn't sure where to post this, but wanted to invite any KC area folk to my gig tonight. We're at Clancy's in Blue Springs, MO. We start about 9:30 and go until 12:30 or so. Should be a good show-- but then I'm a little biased :D. Plus they've got $2.50 Irish pints! WooHoo!
Hope to see some of you there.

Maybe next time-- be cool to meet you. We're playing in Gladstone next weekend, then back at the Lucky Brewgrille in Overland Park the following Friday. If you're in town, hit me here and I'll give you directions.

So the show went pretty well. In fact, we played 3 sets, packed the house, got a $50 bonus, possibly got a regular gig at the place, scored another gig at another place in town (I went to this other place with a demo and told the booking guy to come see our show last night. He showed for the second set, loved us and penciled us in for a gig on the 22nd of Mar. He also want me to come by and discuss drink specials for that nigh to maximize the crowd-- cool eh?). Plus, one of my former students was there with a guy from the local paper. He is the editor of their monthly entertainment newsmag. They want to do a story on us for their April issue. How kickass is that?

these kinds of posts are affectionately known as gigspam. they usually end up in miscellaneous, although they've also been seen in bass humour and gig stories.

i'll move this off to misc poste haste, and good luck with your gig. :)
