    Hey gents, gonna cut right to the chase, my bro formed a band a while back and they are kinda out-growing the traverse city area here in Michigan. They've asked me to see if anyone on Talkbass could help them out, soooooo...

    Anyone have any information regarding venues that host Metal-styled bands in the lower/eastern Michigan area? PMs with any information such as address, phone #s, names of the people in charge, etc. They((my bro and his bandmates)) are hoping to tour this summer, so any and all information is appreciated.

    Harpos, on the east side. That's about as metal a venue as you are gonna find anywhere.

    these     online.
    It is a decent source for DIY's that are just starting out.
    The Musician's Guide 31st Edition,contains Comprehensive city-by-city listings of clubs (Contact person info is listed.), radio stations, record stores, and local press.
    I have a copy and the info is up to date,and well worth the 16 bucks.
