Gill Scott Heron

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by FunkKing, Jan 7, 2005.

  1. I purchased 'Ghetto Style' a few months back, and its never been far away from my CD player. Its sort of like a loose collection of his early stuff. The musicians who play on it are amazing, especially the bassist. Theres a few tracks featuring an upright bass too, they're cool. Anyone else a fan of Gill Scott Heron?

His version of Bill Wither's "Grandma's Hands" is one of my all time favorite tunes!

    I've got a few of Gil's discs
