I bought this from Gilles around 2004/2005 at a George Vance workshop. Really nice bow but I need to thin out as I am moving. Was rehaired by Michael Shank about two years ago and has had very little use.
Beautiful workmanship, quite an artist as you know. 26840993_10212718101881891_2148158008035296872_o. 26952307_10212718102281901_1744286194576931926_o.

  2. Good looking stick. What's the weight in grams?

Thanks it is a good lookin bow! As best as I can measure it clocks in right at 140 grams.

  4. Ive got a Lothar Seifert for sale in Houston, trying to raise some capital. If it does sell, I will P,M. you. This sounds like it might be what I am looking for to play my current repertoire list. Thanks.

OK let me know - there is an interested party that may want a test drive but you never know!

  6. Well let me say this to the interested party, it's a hell of a bow for not a lot of dough...so you'd better beat me to it.

Can you post a close up of the head of the bow please. And is the 140 grams include the rubber tubing or without?

The 140 it's with the tubing. All just as you see.
