GK 1001rb-II + Berg NV610 = ???

    just wondering if anyone uses this amp setup or has tried it. i was thinking of getting this rig and was curious if anyone has tried it and how it sounds.

    I have the nv610 and use to have a gk head. I don't see any reason it would'nt work good. I think the tone will be tighter than you expect. You might have to boost the low end just a touch if you want to fatten it up. Alot will depend on your bass.

    i'm just currently playing a fender MIM p-bass 2000 model. i also replaced the stock pickup with a seymour duncan quarter pound pickup.

    I would not recommend the NV610 to someone who was into modern slap tone. Seeing as how you're a P-bass guy, I think you'll LOVE it. :bassist:

    haha. yeah im not into playing slap at all. im also thinking of getting a dod 250 pedal too.

    I use an older 1001rb and an NV610. Sounds great. Plenty o' power.
