Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by bassman454, Jul 26, 2002.

  1. there is a GK 115 T, for sale and i was wondering what the wattage is of them?? they must be an older model as its not on the gallien site, and on the back of the cab it only says 8 ohms not the wattage.
also are they good ounchy low end cabs or are they a bit middy and boomy??
has any one got one or tried one and what do they think??
    thanks

I saw a rock/metal band where the bass player used one of those along with an old GK 210 with an 800RB. sounded good to me, and he wasn't using any PA support. (everyone else was mic'd) YMMV.

Pretty sure those were 200 watts. I sold one a year or so ago. Not a bad cab, rear ported and pretty fat. I used to take it out with an old 400RB and P Bass and it was perfect for blues/rock in a small trio at the local drunk pit.

Yeah it is front ported. Think it might've been one of the original complements to the 800RB.
