Hey Im gonna be purchasing a Gallien Krueger 400Rb III. So I was wondering if the Avatar B4'10 Delta would be a good match for the GK head.

The cab is rated for 1400 watts RMS
The head is rated at 280 watts at 4 ohms

So I guess the question is would I be underpowering my cab with 280 watts. Or would it be fine?

ps- Im not rich so I cant really afford a higher watt amp.

    -Thanks in advanced.
    :)

I would buy the Avatar 210 first, then save and buy another later-- or even a 115 to go with it. Much easier to lug it all around.

Buy basses and lots of guns before it's too late! You have been warned.
I would check out Dr. Bass cabs prior to buying Avatar. Same exact speakers (and price range), but much different cab coating. The GK head may look goofy atop a carpet-fuzz covered cab. Dr. Bass cabs are coated with a new age polymer, which looks new for years and is easily cleaned. Just a consideration!
